The Fascinating Thing About Baking Pans

Some tools are foundational and unlock near-infinite potential.

I love to cook and bake.

Lately, I have found myself thinking about baking pans – a tool that is an integral part of making so many dishes come to life.

But it is just that: a tool. On its own, the pan just sits there. If you put it in your oven with no ingredients, you will simply have hot metal, but if you load it with a combination of delicious food, you have the promise of a fantastic meal.

Conversely, if you put your ingredients in the oven without the pan, you will probably need a new range (and a DoorDashed dinner) because it will get baked and caked everywhere and will certainly not be edible.

My point is that some tools are absolutely necessary and can help you create almost anything you want in its genre. One day it might be chicken baked with lemon, herbs, and kalamata olives. The next day it might be walnut chocolate chip and sea salt cookies. Two very different products, but the same tool is integral in each coming to life.

I wonder what tools you can find or already have that can help you in your business or life. What is your baking pan?

Sometimes the simplest invention is the foundation for boundless possibilities. Find those types of tools, and always ask, what can I make with this next?
