What tiny little action can you take to see a slight shift on an issue you are facing?

Have you ever played that game where you hold something near your face and close your eyes one at a time to see the perspective shift? 

If you haven’t, try it out. A pen with writing on it is an excellent way to see the effect. At the right angle, you can see words with one eye that are out of sight with the other. 

Doing this simple little exercise shows you how you constantly see one image made out of two perspectives. 

I have a simple question: How can you close one eye and gain a new viewpoint today? 

What tiny little action can you take to see a slight shift on an issue you are facing? 

You don’t have to put yourself entirely in someone else’s shoes to attain a new outlook. But it is so much easier to manage a crisis, engage with your team, or unravel a tangled mess if you can gain a slight shift in perspective. 

Practice seeing just a little bit of the other side today, and see what a difference it can make.
