Grafted Life Replatform

January 2025

PROJECT OVERVIEW

This proposal outlines the scope, timeline, and estimated cost for a comprehensive website redesign for Grafted Life. The new site will streamline user experiences, integrate modern functionalities, and create distinct visual identities for the Evangelical Spiritual Directors Association (ESDA) and Church Formation resources, while maintaining a unified backend. The project focuses on creating a user-centric platform that fosters engagement, simplifies access to resources, and enhances overall efficiency for both users and administrators.

Project Objectives
A New WordPress Foundation

The transition to WordPress will provide Grafted Life with a powerful, flexible platform built for growth and ease of use. This foundation will empower the team to manage updates effortlessly while ensuring the site remains dynamic and engaging for users.

  • Leverage WordPress’s intuitive tools, like Elementor, to streamline content updates without requiring technical expertise.
  • Establish a scalable framework that supports future enhancements, such as learning modules, advanced analytics, or additional membership features.
  • Ensure consistent performance and security through regular updates and robust hosting solutions, building trust with users and safeguarding sensitive data.
Separate Sections with Unique Branding

Grafted Life’s mission spans diverse audiences with distinct needs. Creating dedicated sections for ESDA and Church Formation will ensure each audience finds content tailored to them, while maintaining a unified overarching identity.

  • Create distinct sections for ESDA and Church Formation resources, each with unique visual styling and potentially separate URLs.
  • Maintain a cohesive user journey from a Grafted Life landing page, ensuring clarity and ease of navigation.
Enhanced User Experience

A website that prioritizes clarity and accessibility empowers users to navigate with ease. By focusing on intuitive design and robust search capabilities, this redesign will help users quickly locate resources and engage more deeply with the ministry.

  • Simplify navigation to key resources like podcasts and articles, making it easier for users to find what they need quickly.
  • Improve search functionality with tools like SearchWP or Elastic Search to ensure materials are easily discoverable.
  • Build responsive, accessible designs that accommodate multiple device types, enhancing usability for all audiences.
Efficient Backend Management

Simplifying backend operations ensures Grafted Life’s team can focus on ministry rather than technology. A streamlined WordPress platform will reduce the complexity of updates while enabling staff to maintain the site efficiently.

  • Transition to WordPress for streamlined updates and cost-effective maintenance, leveraging Elementor for intuitive page building.
  • Empower staff with tools to make updates without technical expertise, reducing ongoing maintenance costs and delays.
Membership and CRM Integration
Empowering Grafted Life with seamless membership and CRM tools will enhance relationships with users and stakeholders. Integrated systems will improve data management and support personalized engagement across all areas of ministry.
  • Support layered memberships with distinct paywalls using plugins like MemberPress.
  • Seamlessly integrate Salesforce CRM to manage church partnerships, events, and memberships, ensuring data consistency across platforms.
Robust Security Measures

Security is fundamental to user trust and operational continuity. By implementing strong safeguards like SSL encryption, regular updates, and secure authentication, the new platform will protect data and ensure reliability.

  • Implement industry-standard security practices, including regular updates, SSL encryption, and robust user authentication.
  • Use secure plugins and hosting environments to safeguard user data and prevent vulnerabilities.
